After working on some many Rails projects and used different gems like ActiveAdmin, it was time for a change and I gave a second chance to install and use Forest Admin.
What I really liked about ForestAdmin besides it’s quick and easy setup was the flexibility and extensibility to get a nice and useful Dashboard with charts. Exploring more the other features, there is what they call “Smart Views” that I quick read their documentation and enabled for this new project I’m working on. Basically if let me code my view using JS, HTML, CSS and using Ember or React components.
I’m excited to try and use other features like Smart Actions, Segments and Scopes.
